although most ppl think that all oil comes from the middle east, that is simply not true. we produce a large amount right here on american soil, as well as other, non-terrorist countries such as Venezuela. (yes Hugo Chavez is a jerk, but he is not a terrorist). in addition to all of this, we also have the technology to produce bio-deisel right here too, from corn and soybean byproducts that are being wasted otherwise.

Well the saudis claim to be our friends. I always see them shaking president Bush's hand. They drive BMW's & stuff. I mean as far as they told me the folks overseas are trying to keep the gas cheap; they only want "a fair price" for their product. So why would I want to not support these guys? Well it is not terror free and it will not help much since they can't refine anymore what difference does it make? We already refine at full capacity of the plants we do have but can't refine enough to keep up with demands we already have. When we buy fuel it would be cheaper to buy crude oil but guess what we have to buy refined so it sends the price higher. Not only do we pay some other country for their oil, we pay their workers to refine it and we pay them to ship it to us and w pay import tax on it the road tax once it gets to the pump, it makes no difference until we start refining more fuel ourselves gas will go up what one puny company can do in the big picture is nothing! we Send money there to supply our needs ,want to make terror free oil? build nuke plants in the US and A few Refineries where we can produce our own. plus the money we would make our companies would be invested here and supply more jobs here and create reserch and development that Americans can use. Look at the French they don't worry about Terroist's they have 90% nuke power in their countries. they don't need the oil. And one last thing this is america give back our freedom to create and innovante thats what we do best, when in a Jam we do our best. companies and employee's.why do men like fast cars and fast women ?
The truth of the matter is (as stated on the news on FOX) because of different suppliers and companys buying oil from distributors, there is no way of being sure that the oil they buy actually is from who they think it is. So I will continue to go where I go.More Questions & Answers ...
