Question:
I tried to get the Rpm up to get more gear action but no joy. Should I go to D2?
Answers:
Whyu does my car die on the same street every time i use cruise control?
If you have a car with a powerful and high revving engine, 85 ain't nuthin'.
I didn't notcie it with my Corvette or my Mustang GT either. Maybe it's your car.
If you go to 2nd gear at 85, youll have a great story for the "when I was a kid" moments, but youll be left without a transmission (if you dont wreck). You may have a limiter/governer on your engine or built in to the computer... only lets your go so fast.. I dont know of any that are as low as 85, but with speed limits in the US, thats about as fast as you would ever have the need to go, so i wouldnt doubt it.
What is the most reliable RV sold today?
it would help if you gave a description of the vehicle make model and engine. and like the other guy said, you'll have a hell of a story to look back on if you ever try putting it in seconds. don't leave the part out about how you looked in your rear view mirror and saw pieces of your trans bouncing through trafficMy car won't do 85 unless its on a really long steep downhill. Anyway, I wouldnt want to be in it when it goes 85. Scary enough being in it when it hits 60. Feels like it's a flat object in the wind all over the road it's scary.
