If you have the 1.8L engine, it should be ok even if the timing belt broke. But, if you have the 2.0L engine, then the valves were probably damaged when the timing belt broke.

The price of scrap metal is pretty high right now, so it should be easy to sell it for scrap for at least $150.You could also list it in the local classifieds for around $500 or so as needing repairs. Many people look for such vehicles to fix up, doing the work themselves and getting a decent car cheaper than it'd cost to buy an already good running one.
