I bought a new V W for 1.300.Are there any other cars besides the Pontiac Grand Prix that have a traction control feature?
It depends on which car you are talking about - a Pontiac or an Aston Martin? A Ford or a Rolls Royce? The "average" prices were somewhere between $3,000 and $6,000. Aston Martins and Rolls Royces cost a heck of a lot more.It depends on wich car. Now if it were a muscle car I'm sure it would cost more then you could imagine. If it was a pitiful car like a slug bug than anybody could have one. does that help?
New? Used? Foreign? Domestic?
Is there a big difference as to the quietness between a 2005 Toyota Camry and a 2005 Lexus LS400?
The last car I remember being bought new in the 70's was my dad's 1979 Plymouth Voyager (full sized) full factory equipped. $6900.00 and worth every cent, with today's so-called suvs ,mini vans all the rage I can see why the auto industry is in danger of collapse. Why make something for 15 k when people are willing to pay 30 k for it! I have a new cars that cost more that cost more the my parents first home. The industry makes to many cars that sit waiting to be sold, that's not the way it was done in the 70's.You waited 6 to 8 weeks till what you ordered was assembled and then sent to your dealer. What a concept, actually getting what you wanted on it rather then a dealer finding one that was close to what you wanted.I was 17 years old in 1979 and bought a 73 Nova from a dealership for 600.00 dollars and it got 20 mpg back then.Good Luck...
