Question:
i have an EZ-GO gas powered golfcart and i wanna take the governor off, where is it and how do i take it off
Answers:
Which car is better in performance?
I don't have a EZGO but I do have a Ken Bar Hunter gas powered mine is a 13 hp 357.5 cc.. I use mine for hunting and have all of the power and speed that I can handle, I don't understand why you would want to remove the governor, your engine was engineered to run with the governor for both power and speed. If you change this out you are going to run into maore problem down the road and will never have it run the way that you think that it will, if you are having problems with it and think that you need more power or more speed I would suggest that you call or write to EZGO and explain the problem and ask for a fix.im gonna guess that an exgo doesnt have a governer, they are not ment for power or speed, so chances are they dont have a large cc engine, probably not over 50, so i dont think they have a governer, all you can do is tune the carb, get new pistons, & get a new exhaust system
