Get a Rocky Mountain radar detector. I bought one of those in 2001, and it has saved me many times. You just have to make sure you are driving at the speed limit too. Some cities have the speed limits set at 35 miles per hour, and a cop will give you a ticket if you are going 45 miles per hour in a place like that. There may be better radar detectors available, but some of the cheap ones will constantly give you false warnings. They are not worth having because everything sets them off. The RMR-C450 is the best radar detector Rocky Mountain Radar makes. The "DLS" series is really good too. You should never become angry at police for stopping speeders.
