Do you have to show your license when going to inspection?
Basically the problem has been weight, as diesel engines need to be a lot stronger and heavier than petrol due to the internal cylinder pressures. Also, straight diesel engines are slow revving and low on power. They have great torque but low revving high torque motors are not the thing for bikes, which have very high power, low torque engines. Turbo diesels are now being seen in performance vehicles as they combine much higher power than straight diesels as well as incredible torque, but I still don't see them being applicable to motor bikesAre disk brakes better than drum brakes?

Very unsuitable as it delivers low down torque, not what a bike needs. That why petrol or two stroke, power is more instant. Economy is less an issue on a bike. Orbital engine was looking good a few years ago but it seems to have gone nowwhere.

It's the smell. Since one is seated right over the fuel tank, you would have to smell that stuff, and we all know how that would go over. Have fun! What year Trans Am Did Rocky Drive In Rocky II?
