Question:
In May, I'm renting a car in the U.K. In the U.S., the gas pedal is on the right and the brake pedal is on the left. Since the steering wheel is on the right side of the car in the U.K. versus the left side in the U.S., does that mean the gas & brake pedals are flipped as well?
Thanks in advance!
Answers:
Which one of us should drive ??
The pedals are the same in all cars, even though the steering wheel is on the opposite side. The reason is that most people are right handed/footed. Here is a link to a website in New Zealand like Ebay that has a pic of the interior of a car for sale. Look closely and you will see the gas is on the right.Wat does ABLS stand for in a truck?

Where in scotland can i find a cheap car?
Yes, everything will be exactly the same except that you're driving on the left. Just remember that when making a right had turn that you're turning into traffic. After a few hours of driving you won't even notice it. If you're going to be driving manual trans it's on your left side, but not to worry ...it's really easy to shift for some reason.More Questions & Answers ...
