I got a new radar detector for christmas. It is a rocky mountain radar detector. It is a 200 dollar unit and i am not sure it works. I put it into my power outlet and put it on my windshield. It rarely made noises or gave me a warning noise. I saw many cops that my system did not beep at. Is there anything i am not doing right? thanks for any advice.

A cop positioned by the road can also have his radar detection off.. then turn it on to lock on to a vehicles high rate of speed.. lighting up your detector like a Christmas tree.

they only work if the cop has radar on if its off it wont make a sound. when i was on the road i had one that i could set for any speed i wanted and they couldnt tell the difference lmao I set it for 75 and parked on the shoulder and they couldnt find anyone going that fasthow much gas in my truck do i need?
