We went swimming and left underwear on car engine to dry. One pair was forgotten...what can i do?

we only realised the forgotten pair when we were driving halfway and heard a wierd sound from the engine. We stopped but could not find the missing pair. But since there's no obvious problem, we assumed it's a seperate thing, but i still wonder if any damage could be done to the car assuming the breif's still in the engine, which i think it still is. Thanks

Simple, probally got caught in the belts, shreaded, and flew off. If it was still in the engine somewhere check the radiator fan, it may have gotten caught in there. There's no way it could have gone inside the engine, only hole big enough for that to happen would be the oil filler hole.

Check your air cleaner, the briefs are probably stuck to the filter and nowhere near to inside of the engine. This will not likely cause any problems except for allowing less the optimal air flow to the engine.
