Car engine fan humming?

Question:
it makes a sound, like a baseball card clipped on the wheel of a bicycle, any ideas on what it may be?

Answers:

If a eletric train is going south and the wind is blowing east which way does the smoke blow?

While that's usually the most common problem, it could also be a worn bearing in the fan motor itself. The sound would usually best be described as a baseball card being scraped across concrete for a 1/2 second (usually the bottom of the bearing that gets worn, so you'll hear it for less than a full rotation of the fan), but the noise can come in different forms. If it's clear nothing is hitting the fan, you may consider getting it replaced. If the fan goes out you could overheat and seriously damage your engine.

Car club name?

The fan may be clipping the fan shroud. You'll have to take a look.

Has any one heard of a Spanish company called planet Lucas gv cargo-lines they are meant to transport cars?

Do not check this while the engine is warm, wait until it is cold, like the morning. Manually move the fan around and you should hear and see it hitting something. It could be part of the shroud assembly or there could be debris jammed in there. You may have to remove a part of the shroud if it is coming apart. You could purchase a replacement shroud at a dealer or a salvage yard if needed.
