Question:
Twice now, with close to a year between each time, my rear tires have been slashed (only one at a time), and the only place I can think of it happening is at work. What "they" are doing is sticking a knife in the groves of my tire and breaking off the handle. I don't know it's happened until I am on the road driving or at home. The tire store inspected the tires and this is what they said has happened. I can think of only one person who could be doing this and this person got fired for harrassing me in the first place at work (that and she called our superviser the b word in front of the whole office). I can't prove it's her, nor can I prove that this has happened at work. She knows my car (and notta chance I am getting rid of my car so she can't find me) and I park it where people see my car all day long out the windows. Does anyone have any advice for me on how to handle this situation? Do I tell my work and ask for some security? We used to have it but not anymore.

set up a tiny camera..park in a well lit area and if you have cameras in the parking lots.park near them and have the police get the tapesWhy will i waste you in a race?
start parking in an area that is monitored by suvellience cameras and ask to see the video when it happens again, keep in mind that the tapes are used over and over and image quality may not be that good and that the tape will be taped over so you will have to get it quickly. How can you tell if a car is fwd or rwd?
That would be good, someone is being really petty for putting a knife through your tire. That girl must have been a real loser, because she still doesn't have enough of a life to move on. You should speak with your work place, you are an employee and if this is happening there then they should help you in your situation. Ask if there are cameras in the parking lot of your work place. Then you need to get a car alarm, if someone even bumps your car you'll know about it. If your not feeling safe, take the steps to protect yourself. Also reporting the knife in your tire to the police would be a good start as well. Hope it doesn't happen again, best of luck.Which car has active cruise control option?

Wow that bites! Put the car where you, or your co workers can see it at all times. Hopefully that will discourage the perpetrator. There are alarm systems with motion sensors, video, pager.
I need help in choosing my next Vehicle; 2007 R/T Dodge Charger or 2007 Limited Ford Expedition?
That all depends on how much you want to spend.
You can ask for security at work, but that may require another person on the payroll, and your work may not feel that is worth it to them unless the supervisors tires are getting slashed.
Or it may be more cost effective to replace the supervisor. Catch my drift?

If there are security officers monitoring the area, advise them and they should keep a closer eye on your car. When I was working security, I worked in a 14 floor parking deck, and if we were requested to keep a close eye on a vehicle in the parking deck, I'd make several passes by the car indicating to anyone who might be watching it that security was watching this car. Be warned any vandals.Hope this helps.
