I would certainly keep the honda accord. Hondas are more trendy, more reliable, and particularly the honda accord retains more of its re sale price over the years than the chevrolet malibu since they are more in demand.

I would think the newer car but that preference is up to you. Make a list of all the things you like about both cars and see which car wins. For example: Honda gets better fuel mileage, Honda is more sporty, or Chevy is worth more and still smells new, gets almost the same gas mileage as Honda.
