A company that designs or manufactures custom cars?

Question:
Anybody know or can recommend a company that would work with you to design a car and manufacture it? Say you wanted a custom dune buggy (like HL2), or something like Billy Connelly's trike (http://www.boom-trikes.co.uk/imagelibrar... or just any custom vehicle.

First of all I suggest you read both WHICH KITCAR and KITCAR.
They are published monthly. KITCAR website is www.kit-cars.com. I don't know where you live in the UK because there are some good kit car manufacturers in Lancs; Sussex ; Essex/Norfolk; and various other counties.
Any kitcar which is built has to have SVA (single vehicle approval) before a Road Fund Licence can be issued)
You sem to be interested in some quaint motor and the ones you mention are actually produced. Be clear what you want and then contact the Editor or similar of the magazine - they will be pleased to talk to you. You would also enjoy the Kit Car Exhibition held May Bank Holiday at National Agricultural Centre near Coventry. Don't dismiss Kitcars; they are the best form of Custom Car you will find.
