Yes. And if his girlfriend's got one of the new BMW Minis, her taste in cars is just as bad.Not at all he just wants more money to go to his love instead of his fuel tank. It is also very easy to drive one of those things in the back streets of London and parking doesn't get any better unless you ride a bike. Besides the govt won't penalize you for owning one where as the new cooper is fat and sucks up more gas than it's predecessor did. The old cooper is penalized for pollution. So your friend is actually way ahead of you and see's the writing on the wall for bigger European cars.
