Do remote control car starters work and are they worth the cost?

Check out the DVLA website as it depends on when the car was registered and what it's emissions are. They are recorded on the logsheet. Otherwise if it was registered before 2001, I think, it will be £96.25 for 6 months.

Don't worry, about 2 months before it's about to run out, the DVLA automatically send you out a form telling how much you need to pay for the next 6 or 12 months tax. Just wait for it to arrive and then pop down ot the post office to pay. You can even do it online now if you have the new-style MOT certificate (which you most likely will have as it's been in place for a couple of years now, i believe.
