in theory yes you can once the ban has been completed. However i very much doubt that any hirer will be able to get you insured with a drink drive conviction on your licence. This will as you will know stay on your licence for 10 years and is in effect one of the hidden penalties that you will incur

I shouldn't think so. The companies wiould find it v. hard to get fleet insurance if they wanted to insure everybody.
