HELP! Can you still go to the DMV to take a permit test and such when you don't have an appointment?

I need to go to San Pedro DMV offfice, or Torrance. I need to know whether you can take a test to get your provisional license/permit when you odn't have an appointment. PLEASEEEEEEEE HELPPPP!

Yes, you can go in with out an appointment to take the written test, You will just have to stand in line for hours to get to the window. Make an appointment. You can do it on line (dmv.ca.gov), and it will save SO much time. Don't you have better things to do.
