Toyota Corolla question?

Question:
Just bought a 2003 Corolla from a Toyota dealership. It drives fantastic but I noticed that when in idle the car vibrates a bit (when waiting at the red light). Also: when I looked closer the rpm indicator is not perfectly stable and when I start the engine it is something above 0rpm (should it not be zero?), is that all normal or am I just panicking? Don't know much about cars. Thank you guys!

Whats ur dream car?

The RPMs should never be zero when the engine is turning/running when the car is starting the enige is turning its not sitting still. toyota Corolla's and Camry's both have the problem of their idle air control valvle (IAC) sticking shut. If you are not mechanicly inclined I recommend taking it to toyota to get it fixed, if you are then to verify the problem take an extention for a socket (or any other kind of rod) place it on the IAC valve (it is a small black "thing" about the size of a large D battery located near the throttle) and LIGHTLY tap it if the engine then start to run better you need to replace the IAC valve (it will stick again next time the car is drive a few miles)

GoodYear Triple Tread?

I used to own a Toyota, and mine always did that too. I think it may just be Toyotas. But I could be wrong. I'm not so good with cars either.

Can i make my car look better?

it shouldnt be vibrating much but that happens often with corollas unfortunately. a good tuneup might do the trick. all cars are a little acelerated when idle and on so the mph will never truly be at 0. if you bought it formt he dealer it is still under warranty so take it back to them and tell them you want a tune up because of the vbrations and because the rpm arrow is a little jiggly, that shouldnt happen

Is dere any car wid d name bug??

I'm not sure about Corollas, but I have a Camry, and when it first starts, it's rpm is lil' above zero, it takes awhile before it's in the middle. I read the books on them too, it said it's normal and it's just like warming up the engine. About the vibrating, I'm not sure...if it's a lil' subtle vibrating, ur cool.but if it vibrates like one of those beds that u put a quarter in, then u should take it back to the dealership and ask.
