What is the best way to learn how to drive?

Question:
I am just learning to drive, and i have drove in our subdivision and i was ok. But my subdivision is surrounded by winding 2 way 2 lane streets that the speed limit is 50. then there are highways beyond that. So i am a little scared to drive. Also the car i have to drive in is a 28 yr old cadalac so its like a boat and i dont know where the tail end is half the time becuase the car is so long.

Is it necessary to run the air conditioner during the winter to keep it working?

Any tips you can give me on the driving and on how to handle big cars would be very apprciated.

Hey I am just learning how to drive also. I just got my permit two days ago, as soon as I turned 15 and a half. and I'm driving my mom's lexus. it's pretty big also. she is teaching me a little around.and then after that I will be taking my 6 required hours of drivers classes/behind the wheel training so yea. just practice and you'll definitely get better and better at it.I went on the freeway for the first time today.I have yet to go on the high way. Goodluck!

Can I lock my hubcaps?

The best way is to take drivers training in school. If you don't want to do that then you can hire a driving instructor from a driving school. I know they are listed in the yellow pages.
