Speeding Ticket in Australia?

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive an infringement notice from a speed or redlight camera in Australia?
I don't think I was speeding, but I think i saw a flash and now i'm paranoid...
It was weeks ago, but someone told me 4-6 weeks was the norm.
