How do you remove a car dealership logo from you car?

The dealership went out of business and their logo has a huge ugly white airplane on it. I would've asked them not to put it on in the first place if I saw it prior to purchase.

Is this illegal or just bad manners?

I just had to do this myself. It is easy. Get out your hair dryer. Blast the daylights out of the logo, starting at a corner. The heat will lossen it up. Gently peel it back continuing to use the hair dryer.
Be patient. It will take a little time. But it will come off. When it is removed, use a soft sponge with a little soapy water to wash the logo area so you will not have the "shadow" still showing.

I carefully pull mine off when I get the car home. Most are just glued on and can be removed. You can also try something like WD-40 to help loosen the glue. Remove it slowly and carefully. Good luck

If it is a vinyl sticker I would use a heat gun or a hair dryer set on high to soften the adhesive and a plastic scraper to pull it off. If there is any adhesive left on the car use a product called Goo-Gone or lighter fluid to disolve the adhesive. if it is a plastic emblem held on with double sided adhesive tape try the same method but getting the tape off is much harder.
