Extractors for 6.0 V8?

Question:
I would like to know if it will expensive to purchase and install? The car has quad exhaust and i want to increase the big rumbling sound from the V8 does that mean i need new exhaust pipes ad therefore pay more? Also will it bump the KW up to 300 if it is already 270 stock?

Answers:

What is the mininum number of miles per week I should drive my car to avoid damage through disuse?

The extractor kit you need runs between $500 and $800. The 386 will also require adaptor plates for the cats to be reinstalled as well. As for HP, there won't be that much of a difference. If all you are after is a throatier sound, replace the OEM mufflers with some Magnaflow or Flowmasters. You can also cut in some resonators between the cat and muffler as well. The kits are available at any local speed shop, but if you want a list of what's available, check the link below. Extractor kits are on page 9.
