Some people are burning ivegtable oil in Diesel engines. there are 2 ways to use it. One is raw but it has to be preheated before running thru the injectors and newer Huey style injectors dont like the raw veggy oil. The second way the veggy oil is processed . They use a caustic added to the oil mix wait for it to seperate part of it will be clean biodiesel and the other part is glycerine . the 2nd way is by far the best. it can be used in most diesels. There are lots of arguments on the subject. but facts are facts Bio diesel has much higher lubricity burns cleaner with less harmful emission particles

Vegetable oil is a legitime fuel, but only for oil burning fuel systems. Diesel engines can easily accommodate vegetable oil to burn. (Volkswagon and Mercedes - Benz being the predominant autos brands, and many truck brands also)
