can be shifted manually, or automatically. it often has a normal gearshift that can be placed in drive (for automatic) or can be moved in to a '+ -' mode (for upshift and downshift)

Why does gas go up in the summer?

Its electronic gear shifting without a clutch. Basically, you can manually select the gear you want to be in but without using a clutch. Sort of like changing gears in a video game.

What should I name my car?

Most manu-matics have a computer override that automatically upshifts when you hit a rev limiter. BMW and Ferrari have the best manu-matic transmissions mostly due to their F1 technology.

How to get there?

It's an automatic transmission with gear selection like in the older classic muscle cars with ratchet type selector on the drive shaft hump.
Kind of like the "slap stick" in the older Dodge Chargers.

Speeding ticket in australia, its now 20/3/2007, ticket just arrived in uk dated 15/10/2005, is that legal?

If there's no clutch, it's an automatic. Period.
