yes its possible to do this,if you still have an old copy of the registration on it,with the serial no,,on it you can find out where its at,i did this and found my old mustang after 30 years,so i know it can be done,there's no guarantee you,ll find it if it was crushed or junked out,the records will stop at the point of the last time it was registered,but it can be done,go to your local dmv,and they can do this ,and they can tell you where it might be at,you may not like what you find ,but it can be done now days,,good luck with it ,i hope this help,s.
