What octane fuel is best for a Nissan 300ZX twinturbo (VG30DETT)?

Question:
I have been running 95 octane and 97 octane, both ULP. Only other fuel available locally is 91 octane, which I thought would not help a turbos compression. Any other TT drivers have any thoughts?

Whatever your owners manual says. Check the owners manual. If you don't have it, then call your Nissan dealer and ask them.

Most likely it says 91 or 92 octane. Extra octane will do nothing to help your performance or anything else.

If it works OK use it. A higher octane rating than you need is just a waste of money.
