What are the benefits of my British Columbia's Driving License?
if it runs better stick with it , with all the computer engine management these days some are able to take advantage of premium fuel . too bad a fuel chemist isn't around .Why won't my 1991 Civiv 1.5L accelerate after reaching 50mph?
No. Of course it's not helping anything either, and you are wasting money. You should run whatever the manufacturer calls for.The owner's manual will specify the gas recommended by the car manufacturer. It will not hurt it if you use a higher grade gas. It's up to you and your finances.
I don't suggest gasing DOWN though. If your vehicle's manufacturing book recommends 93 octaine I would not contemplate using 87.
Driving test on Monday. Need advice.?
Good Luck!
Which car rental companies let you choose the make and model you rent?
.
No, it shouldn't hurt anything, rather it should increase the performance of your engine. Check your user's manual for the best octane rating to use on your vehicle.
I need help naming my new car! Suggestions, please!?
you aren't hurting your car, but you are definetly hurting the environment. high octane fuels are less flammable to combat detonation in a higher compression engine. when you burn high octane gas in a car engineered for regular gas, all you are doing is expelling large amounts of unburned fuel(hydrocarbons and the like) into the atmosphere. haven't you heard of global warming?More Questions & Answers ...
