How much weight should I put in the bed of my pick-up so it doesn't "fish tail" in the snow?
Obviously you dont drive in snow much? I have the 07 tahoe and my nieghbor has the 07 avalanche (both 4x4s and stock tires) and they both do great so im sure you wont have any trouble at all and you definitly do not need chains. The yukon and the tahoe are exactly the same.. just a different exterior but you will do fine. Trust me!you can ask a place that sells tires and they should be able to tell you. or call the company that made the tires and ask them.

the tires that came on it are most likely all weather tires which along with 4x4 should get you around just fine in winter. You can go purchase snow tires if you have particularly bad winter conditions in your area.how many miles is a gas of tank?

Generally tries on your type of truck are considered M&S Mud and snow tires..that the tread pattern and the material that the tire is made of is set for booth types of conditions. snows tires are available but usually have a different rubber compound so you will need to change in the spring due to the softer rubber compound.I have a 2005 lamborghini gallardo. I take it for cruises sometimes...?
Check your state law to see if you need chains. New Mexico requires chains no matter what tire you have.Look on the sidewall of your tires and read the information. In the neighborhood of where the tire size is listed look for M/S. that means they are mud/snow tires. I have a 4WD and I don't worry about using chains.
If it is not required by law, the only advantage to using chains is for ice, and in that case, I don't go out.
