Question:
Friday night I went to my friend’s house in center city Philadelphia. We went out drinking that night and I crashed on his couch. When I went back to my car the next morning, I found out that I parked in a handicapped spot and got a $300.00 ticket. When I parked there, it was raining and at night and I didn’t see the signs posted saying this spot was reserved for handicapped parking. Obviously if I saw them, I wouldn’t have parked there, but I didn’t and now I have to pay a $300.00 parking ticket. I can’t afford it and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way get it reduced or voided. Thanks

no chance you can never bet the establishmentgo see someone running for office usealy they can help because they want your vote
If you have friends in "high places" then you can get it voided.
Can you identify the medallion in this photo?
You can try to contest it by fighting it in court. You will need to take picture to prove your case. At this time you can ask the judge to reduce the fine cuz of your financial situation. Most of the time the judge will reduce the fine if the "excuse" is good enough. If the handicapped spot was not noticeable like say a hugh *** sign in front of your car then you have a chance.
Or you can have one of your friend who is handicap and come in with the sticker with you while you contest it saying that you forgot to put the sign up in the car.
20+ yrs experience,accident free driving,LGV-HGV?
Lots of way to fight this ticket if you are creative enough.
I would look for a phone number on the ticket which allows you to dispute the validity of the ticket. If you do it sooner than later your chance of getting the ticket reduced are much greater. If you bury your head in the sand and wait for all the additional fees and fines for non-payment you will have zero chance of getting the fine reduced.
is a 1977 lincoln continental front or rear wheel drive?
You should count yourself as being lucky that you did not get pulled over for drinking and driving. You probably missed that sign due to a few too many beers.
You wouldn't buy a mobile phone the size of a house brick with it's large battery on a trolley?
NO, you cant get out of paying the ticket. YOU are guilty.... just send in what you can with the ticket.... it is better than not paying it. If you dont pay the ticket they will suspend you license and issue a warrant for your arrest.... just be a man and pay.Do you think this is a good car>?
One thing that is sometimes an option is to attend traffic school. Your go for like six hours one saturday, and your ticket is gone. All you have to do is listen to why you should park in handicapped spots, and promise to do better. You would have to research this further in your area, but my wife did this for a speeding ticket in missouri.More Questions & Answers ...
