Where do these guys go to the toilet? i stopped in a layby the other day and this guy appers from the undergrowth doing his belt up.Now was that a number 2's?they only have a small container of water there so i decided against the bacon butty.

You just put me off my favourite food.I normally judge the wagon by firstly the amount of lorries parked around it and then by the overall condition.
Lorry drivers are fussy and talk to each other about where the best food is all the time so if the place is dodgy then word soon gets around. so never go to a quite van.
Secondly when you walk up to the place you can see if it is regularly cleaned. If it isn't I just buy a can of drink and something in a pre wrapped package then walk away.

Good point mate. Food hygiene standards are often astray at these places. Ripe for a wee bit of belly ache or worse!thanks for that thought i am a driver who is now contemplating a very strict new diet regime looks like sarnies for me from now on :( :(
we have alot of taco trucks here and i was always wondering the same thing people say they have the best food but i do not think they are clean at all.
I went to get a burger frm a van once, and in front of me the lady sneezed into her hand... and then just carried on chopping some onions! Ewww
You Brits should see the "taco-wagons" we have here in Texas..scary is not a strong enough word.
