Studies have been done that show there is little or no difference in having your windows down on the freeway, or using your a/c. I prefer to use my a/c just because you can still listen to your radio and it is nice and cool compared to the hot air that is getting into your car if your windows are down. And really, with a 2005 vehicle, your air conditioner has little effect on your gas mileage. You have the new R134 air conditioner which creates less friction (compared to the regular freon ones) which uses less gas. Well if you drive with your windows down it will save you alot of gas. If you use a/c it sucks the gas right out.More Questions & Answers ...
