Question:
I was pulled over for speeding last night, but was not given a ticket. It was my first time ever being pulled over and I was not sure what was supposed to happen. The police officer was very nice and took my license but did not give me a ticket. He never said it was a warning or if I was getting a ticket or what. Do they mail you a ticket or was I lucky and just got off with a warning. I was thinking maybe I was lucky since I have had a perfect driving record until now and am over 18. I live in Ohio, but I have had trouble finding information on this topic for my state. Thanks!

When I get my Learner's Permit in Michigan can I....?
yes, there must be a paper also there are times when they tell you "this is just a warning", they also can give you a "warning ticket".Be careful out there
The officer has to personally give you a citation and tell you he's giving you one. Its like getting arrested and the cop not reading your Miranda Rights. The only time a ticket will be mailed to you is when you get nailed by a red light camera. He doesn't HAVE to tell you it's just a warning, but he does have to tell you why he pulled you over. You're good, no worries.
What vehicles can carry 9 passengers or more?
you just got lucky. or maybe you better keep a lookout in the mail box. i think the cop was late for the donut run. well whatever reason you may not have to worry if you were getting a ticket you would have it in your hand.More Questions & Answers ...
