Question:
I've been broke lately and only putting in 5 dollars worth of gas at a time, which only lasts me about two days. However, last week I put in $15, and my tank seems to be lasting longer (as in, I'm not using gas at the same rate). My car, which is a 2005 Corolla, seems to run better with more gas. Is there any scientific basis for this?

Nope, fuel efficiency is not effected by the amount of gas in your tank at all. Its all in the perception you feel when you have to fill up $5 3 times versus $15 one time.Could the Navigation system be used to play DVD movies ?

If your engine is constantly sucking the sediment that builds up at the bottom of your tank when it only has $5 worth in there that could have an impact. But, $15 worth of gas is heavier, so it should diminish your mileage. In either case, the difference shouldn't be measurable except with highly sensitive scientific instruments.Which car company are developing a hydrofuel car?

well u wont get better fuel econamy but it could help a lil if your tank was dry/out of gas and u only put $5 in gas then the pump in the tank might be sucking in more air than gas and with more gas in the tank the car wont be pulling more air and it will there for seem to run better because it doesn't need the car to hit a bump or rock back and forth inorder to get gasDo you use every seat in your vehicle?
just a coincidence. What is car poop?? And do cars get that "not so fresh" feeling??
First of all the only accurate way to figure fuel mileage is to carefully fill your tank up at a station and noting the pump and position your car is sitting. Note the car odometerHow long does it take a car to consume its power steering fluid?
Run your tank till the red warning light comes on and return to the same station in the same position. Fill the tank up and figure your mileage.

Gas gages are as accurate as wind blowing clouds. General and inacurate.
More gas = more weight = lower gas mileage.
