I remember working on Buick Rivera's in the mid 80's that had a CRT touch screen in the center of the dash that had a programmable GPS type system in it. Pretty elementary compared to todays technology, but very cool at the time.

General Motors is responsible for most of the inovation in cars and trucks but usually dosn't get much credit for it. I saw an ad the other day for a Lexus that had night vision. Lexus implied that they invented the technology. Sorry Lexus. Cadillac had that 7 years ago. I also saw an ad for a Volvo that would flash a warning if it thought you were about to crash. Sorry Volvo, Cadillac had that 2-3 years ago also.
