It was common for myself and my peers to pass on our second try. I think the examiners were too high and mighty to allow us to pass 1st time and failed us on something trivial so we wouldn't get over confident. I was told I went too slow around corners and passed on my 2nd attempt.I passed the written and the practle both on the first try.
