Question:
In particular a 2003 chevy tahoe towing a dodge ram 1500 on an 18ft trailer?
Equiptment?
Safety?
Speed?
Laws?
Answers:
Note if you decide to go against my advice at least listen to me now. When you load the truck on the trailer, be very careful as to which way you load it. If you have a lot of weight in the bed of the truck then you might want to back it onto the trailer but if empty you will most likely want to load it with the front forward, KEEP IN MIND THAT THE LOAD NEEDS TO BE HEAVIEST IN FRONT OF THE TRAILER AXLES
How many quarts of oil does a 1998 dodge caravan with a v6 hold?
half ton truck w/your trailer no more then 1 ton on trailer.anymore then that we will all be calling you FLIPPER! P.S. make sure those trailer brakes work!Take if very slowly until you learn the tricks and shortcomings.
Do not attempt to tow a loaded trailer without trailer brakes. Make sure the trailered vehicle is chained down, both front and rear so that it absolutely cannot move or shift its weight suddenly. Make sure the trailer has a valid license plate and a load rating sufficient to carry a Dodge Ram 1500.
