My friend is going on a vacation to Florida. He lives in PA, which is about 2,000 miles north of Florida. He is going to use one of those things that converts your cigarette lighter to an outlet. He plans to plug his PS2 into for the whole car ride. I told him that it will drain that battery. So my question is, will that drain the car battery? Thanks

Yes, it drains the battery, but the alternator charges the battery, so it doesn't present a problem. Just don't have it connected when the engine's turned off.

not as long as the engine is running it replaces what it use.
