Is Indians are tallest in world?
The heater simply channels the heat created by your car's engine into your car, thus utilizing no gas. On the other hand, the A/C forces the car's engine to turn a small air compressor which creates so much pressure that it turns your car's "refrigerant" gas to a liquid. That's quite a lot of work. So in other words, the heating uses none but the ac uses a decent bit, not much though if u use it only occasionally. Why is the time of day with the slowest traffic called "rush hour?
Heater: No. Captures heat coming from engine anyway.A/C: Yes. Definitely.
Does getting a ticket for a red light make insurance go higher?
I could be wrong but I think only running the air conditioner uses gas.yes, I know this for sure, but you should ask a makanic for the type of car u have andfor more info. but if u use it to much, especially AC on a hot hot day +ur on a hill ur engine can catch fire, or leaking or even WORSE! so anyway, i think im pretty positive about my answer! bye!!!
Only in using the AC because you have to engage a compressor to run the AC. The AC has a seperate V belt just for that.
Any other 15yr old out there who doesnt want to drive??
using the ac will but the heater will not use any gas. This often comes as a surprise to many people, but cars designed in the past 15 years or so are more efficient with the A/C running and the windows rolled up. If you turn off the A/C and roll the windows down, the aerodynamics of the car change and produce more drag. This uses more fuel than what's required to power the A/C compressor!
Why are car salesmen so horrible?
The heater uses no additional power.
