I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong......so how can I fix it. I have tried driving schools and I'm told to keep driving and things will get better. WHEN?? This FEAR is comsuming my life to the point of its the only thing I can think about. I have prayed, cryed and begged GOD for help. I know GOD has been with me because I have never caused an accident or hit anyone or thing.

Driving IN the city of Chicago is a quite different than driving around on residential streets outside the city. So I can understand your fear. I too get very nervous when driving in the city. There is so much to pay attention to. And if you aren't familiar with the area that just makes it worse. Maybe you just need more practice on roads that aren't so congested with people and cars. You could try putting on soothing music to help calm your nerves.How many times did you take your driving test for your license?
