How can I tow my Quad to Arizona from Missouri?

I am buying a quad off some friends in Missouri And I have a Ford explorer Sport and I contacted Uhaul and they said that I cannot tow anything behind a ford explorer because of safety Issues. I am moving back to arizona so how can i get my quad back to arizona? Are there any other Moving companys that rent trailers any awnser is greatley appreciated.

I shipped a side by side ATV from Georgia to San Antonio Texas, via overnight express now know also as UPS it cost me $249.50 and that was to the door. with the cost of fuel I would think that it might be cheaper to do that than using any other way if you could and it isn't recommended, you would have the cost of renting the equipment and the big increase in cost of gasoline. I haul my little atv to the ranch often and my pick-up uses about twice as much as to when I run empty, at least check it out it might save you a lot of aggravation and money.
