If you have paid a firm to fit tinted glass and you are given a rectification notice by the police then they must put it right free of charge

apparently, the current law is that the front windows should let at least 70% light through on ALL vehicles. I think the rear windows should let at least 30% light through.
And yes it's a bit of a jab at boy racers, but the fact was that more under 25s with really dark front windows had accidents where they didn't see something.
