It would make a difference if I knew whether you wanted to restore it to its classic look, or just make it look cool. Making it look cool is a heck of lot cheaper.
Buy the stuff you need a bit at a time (unless of course, you run into someone with a car that they are junking and they have a ton of stuff you need). Scour the junk yards for the seats--you may just luck out and find a great set in a wrecked car. Same with the door panels--unless of course you are handy and recover them yourself (that is not really that hard either if you can handle a sewing machine). As for the carpet, regular car carpet is not that expensive and it is easy to do. I actually used house carpeting in a car once--that was a total pain in the neck making it mold to the contours of the floor ( 1979 RX-7)
Paint jobs are not that difficult either. But if you do not have the place, compressor, air gun and gauges take it to a body shop. Shop around on the body shops--the prices can vary significantly.
I just restored a 1985 RX-7 to original. I am starting on a 1980 RX-7 this weekend--it will not be original but it will be cool :).

Have fun with it. Restoring cars can be a lot of work but it so rewarding. (well, I think so anyway)

is it illegal to have lights under your car if it is not red, white, or blue?

Any restoration is going to cost money. And when it comes to quality, you get what you pay for. So if you really want to save money and plan on keeping the car for a long time, spend more now and get excellent quality. If you want to make the car look good to sell or trade it, try and look for reproduction parts or do the work yourself (with the exception of the paint job, takes specialized training for that).

If you were give wings where would you first go?

i own a repair and restoration shop, and if you don't want to spend a lot of money you don't need to start re-storing this car ,because its not going to be cheap to fix it,I'm doing a Nissan sports coupe right now ,and im already in about 3 grand on it,and it isn't even ready for paint yet so you need to think about it,,its not going to be cheap to repair,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

I need to rent a car, what are the major rental companies?

ur not exactly asking a question here...and fixing all that crap will be expensive and not worth it

Ok what if i had to get porshce boxter or a nissan skyline gtr r34 which one should i get?

Unfortunately, there isn't a good answer to this question. To restore a car properly will take money, and usually lots of it because once the process is started, other problems are usually found that need to be corrected as well. If you cut corners economically, the quality of the restoration will suffer. you can save some money if you are skilled enough to do the work yourself properly. To have a quality job that lasts, you need to use quality parts and supplies, and if you don't have the skills to do the work yourself, you need a professional. Even worse, if you have a shoddy job done now, you will most likely wind up paying at least as much to have it redone very soon as you would have paid to have the work done right in the first place, and possibly even more if the cheap job is bad enough.
