i don't like it to tell you the truth, i will get anything that is NOT made by ford...the fusion sucks more, ford like, need to go back to the drawing board and start making better models to attract american buyers.they should just stop making cars ansd suvs...specially focus.If you drove the speed of light and turned your headlights on, would they do anything?
I'm considering buying one as my next small car. I was looking at Consumer Reports this morning and they have the manual version listed at the top of their list of budget compacts, and the nice thing is its a little larger than the other cars they are comparing it to. We had a 95 Escort that we traded a few years ago and it wasn't fancy but it rode very well and it was reliable. I'm not sure why Ford gets picked on so much. I have a 2000 F150 that I now have 92,000 miles on and it is very reliable. They have built a few cars that were flops. I once owned an 86 Tempo, and I'm not surprised they quit building it. I'm sure most of the car companies out there have made a few that they wish they could take back, but I have heard a lot of good things about the Focus and we have a friend that has had one for a few years and loves hers. Look at what the police drive in almost every town, and you know they need something reliable.How do cars with the same engine have different engine torque and power?
Has been great basic safe transportation for my daughter. We bought a new 2003 pin striped it and she added some monster sound system in the trunk...she's been happy. I have seen everyone from grandmas to teens driving it. It lacks lustre. Mechanically theres been an ongoing issue with tire rotation but other than that its been sturdy and reliable. Pickup is plenty for a new driver and handling has been great. I'd like to see her have a little bigger car just from a safety standpoint, but the truth is the smaller design has made things like parking and lane changes simpler and overall I think safer.. good value for the $$..but from a big car maker like Ford you'd expect a lot more quality and style... Ford has repeatedly ignored the market.and their same old same old approach has been good only for those who are brand loyal or looking for basic transportation. if you want a car that has the power and looks you can actually park in public (as opposed to parking round the corner in shame) you have to go foreign. sad but true.When u install a cold air intake into ur car does it make the car sound different??
