Difficult to do, but other drivers should respect the fact those people can afford to drive a BMW, and just try to think perhaps one day, we too can afford such a car!

I own and drive a BMW 740iL, it's a fantastic machine and the most fun to drive. I think people who are "aggressive" towards us are just jealous. The cars are beautiful and we tend to be a rather anal group. I belong to BMWCCA and a local club. We get together and have rallys and it's a blast. My car is up for the winter as I refuse to expose it to salt. As for those who think it's unpatriotic to drive a foriegn vehicle..you must realize that most vehicles are a composite of many foriegn parts. BMW has a plant in Georgia and my Toyota FJ Cruiser was made here. There is a REASON Toyota is pushing out GM. All my GM cars started to fall apart after 80-100k miles. My Beemer is still going strong after 175k. The Toyota will last for ever.Being I am one.I like um!

The one word to describe people aggressive to BMW drivers is "JEALOUSY". Cmon people, dont say its not patriotic to drive any other car than a American car. If you are so patriotic, then the first thing you need to do is to throw your computer in the trash as its memory, hard disk and other hardware are made in Taiwan, the casing is made in China, then its all assembled in some other Far East country and finally runs on Microsoft where there are so many Indians working. BMWs are a class apart. I drive a BMW M5 and I know how hurting others feel when i just glide pass them without much effort. I have repainted my car 2 times in the last year as so many people have expressed their concern by leaving their trademarks with coins or keys on my car. If they cant own it, atleast they can appreciate it rather than show their jealousy in such a way.Do pickups have different letters on their liscense plate than a car or are they the same?

I have noticed that BMW drivers seem to think that they own the road. Rarely do I see a BMW driver use his turn signals, obey the speed limit, or use common courtesy on the road. In my opinion they dish out more aggressiveness than they will ever receive. In fact, I have learned to keep my distance from BMW's because they are so unpredictable and dangerous.More Questions & Answers ...
