What is the driving age limit for CA?
Yes. States honor each others driving permits. How old do you have to be to get your commercial driving license?
Yes, under the good faith clause, you can do so. Good faith clause means that the individual states in the Unites States have good faith in each other and they honor each other's decision. So even though, one state's decision may be different than another, you are still okay. For example marriage, if I get married in New York, California will considered me married too. I don't have to get married again when I come here.My avatar has a crush on RAKELS avatar, should they hook up?
So if one state (Kansas for you) recognizes you as a valid driver and grants you a driver's license, if you go to another state, you can use that same one. The other state (California) will also acknowledge that you are an okay driver because Kansas thinks that you are okay so no, you don't need a California driver's license to drive temporarily in California. Your Kansas Driver's License can also be used for identification here in California.
The only exception is if you decide to come here to live. Then obviously, you have to register your car with the local DMV and get a California Driver's License.
