I think I have bad fuel in on old chrysler 35hp outboard. How do I change it?
A bearing can either be a compass direction or the angle between your current direction, you and the object.
.
'Bearing' refers to a point of the compass (eg: 180° = due South, etc).
I know ive asked before but does anyone sail a Vanguard Laser or 420?
Heading can be used loosely to mean this also: "stay on a heading of 180°" but is just the specific course on which the vessel is steering at any particular point, however that course is defined. It can refer simply to a landmark - or even another vessel: "Steer a heading on yonder steeple" or "Keep a heading on the guard boat"! etc.
