Mike D's answer is good for the starter. when you say "no fire", you open another can of worms. probably need a pro for that one...unless you have a DVA meter or something. if you use spark plugs out of the hole to determine this, be careful not to set yourself on fire. been there, done that, just like every other outboard mechanic that's been at it a while. lol.

Your starter is either bad or you have a wiring harness problem. Disconnect the harness at the engine and run a jumper wire across the starter solenoid from the + feed from the battery to the smaller + on the solenoid and see if it starts. Make sure your battery is charged first. If it starts the harness or key switch is the problem, if not, suspect the starter.
