Hopefully you can find the equator (0 degrees Latitude - around the planet horizontally) and if you can find the Prime Meridian (0 degrees longitude - runs from the north pole to the south pole through Greenwich, England) - 180 degrees is the back side of the Prime Meridian. The spot you're looking for is the intersection of the 2 lines.

I could explain latitude and longitude, but you're better off searching for websites with illustrations to make it clearer than just a text description.

From another Shellback: Take a globe and find the equator. In the Pacific, find the International dateline. Where they cross is where you are looking for.

A Golden Shellback is, one who has crossed the equator at the international date line or 0 degrees latitude and 180 degrees longitude. The earth is divided into 360 degrees of longitude, and each degree is divided into 60 minutes, and each minute is divided into sixty seconds. Also 1 degree of longitude is about 111 miles at the Equator and it grows shorter the farther north or south one travels, becoming 0 miles at the poles.
