can anyone help, looking for petter 2 cyl diesel engine?
Good Morning, from LONG ISLAND, NY: Remove the starter motor, you can do it by removing two of the 3 bolts on it, then it swings out of the way, unbolt shift linkage, make sure lower unit is supported as it will drop FAST. Make sure that you re-alignment it through the hole when re- assembling. make sure you replace the whole pump assembly (housing and wear plates too). Put a dot of gasket sealer on the new "key", to keep it there while sliding on the new impeller (wiggle new pump housing on impeller or spin prop (foreward) to turn the drive shaft so the impeller pops in the housing, some soap and warm water may help)where can i buy a real hovercraft from?

g,day from australia the shift linkage is the tricky bit make sure it is in nuetral you may have to remove the starter and the fuel pump to get to it,then it is just matter of undoing the bolts on yhe leg and letting it drop, the water pump is easy o.k all the best philgOn my 75hp, there are 4 bolts that you can see, and one you can not. It is located with the trim tab, and you must remove it aswell. The shift linkage is a small rod that passed thru the piviot point that alllows the motor to turn right or left. There is a small bolt that contects to your shift cable to some levers & brackets. Look at the bottom of the inside of cowling. Have someone shift the motor for you while you are looking for it, or just follow the cable, piviot points, ect...
